Being intentionally kind can change the world. Promise.
Here are some of our favorite impact projects or things to do.
We have a great partnership with the American Red Cross. Contact your local group and schedule a blood drive. One donation can save 3 lives and power red donations can save 6! What a beautiful kindness.
This one is our favorite! First, take your old scarves, mittens, hats and jackets. Then craft a kind note that says:
I am not lost.
I am here just for you.
If you are cold and you need me, please take me.

Every three minutes someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. And 70% of patients don't have a fully matched donor in their family. That's where you come in! You could be their match. Join the registry today. Simply text GIVETUES to 61474 or visit my.bethematch.org/givetues if you are 18-40 years old. Complete the registration, swab your cheeks with a free kit and mail them back! If you are military affiliated, headed over SaluteToLife.org and do your registration.
PS, thanks to the DOD you can be 18-60 and its free for you! Same process and the same ability to save lives.
Reach out to your local homeless shelter and get a list of their needs. Then start a city or neighborhood drive to fill them up. You can take it a step further and create small blessing bags with essentials to hand out as you see someone in need.
Your community, regardless of where you live, has foster children. Often they receive old clothes -- we want to change that. Call your local office and see what agency supports the foster families. Find out what the need is and do a community drive.
Every year, Veterans Last Patrol works tirelessly to serve veterans in hospice. Operation Holiday Salute is a part of their mission, which sends holiday cards to veterans in hospice throughout the country. In 2020, we helped them raise 35,000 cards! Schedule a card party and mail them directly to Veterans Last Patrol this GivingTuesday.
Go into your community and find a park to clean up. This is one big and beautiful way to show kindness. It will impact the environment and the people living there.
We love this one! Make 50 kind post-it notes and stick them on random cars. You never know what people are going through and how your words can change their life.
Treat the person behind you in line. What a beautiful way to change someone's day and spread some goodness.
We love to treat our hospitals, fire and police stations to goodies on GivingTuesday. These individuals do so much for all of us and our communities, let's take the time to show them our gratitude.
Welcome and thank you for committing to kindness.
You are a world-changer!
